The Wayland boys’ varsity basketball team will play Three Rivers at 7:30 pm. Monday in the first round of the regional basketball tournament at Allegan High School.
Three Rivers, which scored a mild 67-63 upset over Paw Paw (18-5) Saturday in its district final, will bring a 15-7 overall record into the contest. Wayland now is 20-3.
Benton Harbor (19-3) and Battle Creek Harper Creek (15-8) will be the other two teams in the regional. They will play each other at 5:30 Monday.
Winners of the two ballgames Monday will meet at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in the regional finals at Allegan.
