Singles players Theo Oddy and Cam Sieffert came through at first and second singles, respectively. Third singles Chase Robinson lost in a tough match against a talented left-handed player and fourth singles was a default victory for Jacob VanDuine in his first match scheduled as a singles player.
In the doubles flights, at first doubles, Mason Babiak and Chesney Hudson won 6-3, 6-0 in their first match playing as a team. At second doubles, Asher Hendricks and Brayden Tomson won 6-2, 6-2 and at third doubles, Grant Dunkle and Bradley Deweerd played well as a team and won 6-2, 6-1.
The fourth doubles pair of Malcolm Sheffer and Grady Lettinga fought hard, but fell to the Panthers, 4-6, 1-6.
Adams added, “It was a great team victory for the Wildcats as they wrapped up their first undefeated week of the season. Time to look forward to South Christian coming to our house on Monday.”
