The Hopkins softball team has always had a spirited rivalry with Grandville Calvin Christian for the O-K Silver Conference championship.
This time, Tuesday, April 28, Calvin Christian came out on top with a doubleader sweep, 9-7 and 4-2. The verdicts dropped the Vikings to 7-4 overall and 3-3 in league play.
Hopkins and Calvin Christian last year tied for the Silver title.
