Word has been received of the recent death of Gary Kotrba, a 1963 graduate of Wayland High School.
He was a longtime employee at the Mullenhurst Golf Course, where he was reported to be a valued member of the greens crew here at the Hurst for many years after he retired from Spartan Foods as a truck driver. He lived for many years in the Hastings area.
Among his survivors is his wife, Janice, and a sister, Joylyn Culver. He was preceded in death by a brother, Jim.
Gary Kotrba was cremated and there have been no plans for a funeral or celebration of life disclosd.
